South Sudan has won its independence from Sudan on 9th July, 2011, ending decades of civil wars between the northern Sudan and southern. Upon the independence, the citizens in the world's youngest nation were preparing for bright future, a rein of democracy values and human dignity. Unfortunately, South Sudan switched into deadly civil war that erupted mid-December 2013, two years after the independence. The lack of access to information, freedom of expression and media, rule of law, good governance & accountability, gender equality, peace and conflict resolution, community  empowerment were the main reasons behind the formation of this organization in 2016. Promotion of  independent media, freedom of expression, access to information and information dissemination, monitoring, investigating all forms of human rights abuses and violations are part of our daily activities.
